Welcome to my first official post.<\/p>\n

This is where I introduce myself and explain what I’m trying to do. Unfortunately, I’m not sure. I’m “in between jobs” as they say and after months of mooching off my husband, I’m trying to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life. For various reasons that won’t make you laugh, but will make you yawn, it appears my old line of work is no longer an option.<\/span><\/p>\n

What to do, what to do? I’ve started a FB page called (surprise!) Humor by the Book to see how many likes I can get. It’s got 61 likes! I know, I know, wow. If you would like to add to my number of likes (although it’s apparent I don’t need it), check it out here<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. I post many, many original funny memes that at least I think are funny.<\/p>\n

But back to my job situation (or lack thereof). One option I’m looking at is being an Amazon Affiliate. I know what you’re thinking! “Aha! This person is trying to SELL something to me to get rich!” And you’re right! If you and around 10 million of your friends buy, for example, a funny T-shirt from an Amazon link on this site, I will get rich. Very rich. So rich that I won’t talk to people like you unless you’re Bill Gates. I can’t wait.<\/p>\n

Here is the wording Amazon very reasonably wants me to put on my website: “We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.”<\/p>\n

I’m glad that’s over with!\u00a0 Now on to my plan of world domination (and getting rich).<\/p>\n
